Artist statement
My current series of paintings, Emotional Landscapes, are abstract landscape images painted to draw the viewer into an altered space of perception. These images are designed to bring a subtle energy to the viewer resulting in a change of consciousness.
I believe an artist who is consciously aware of the intent behind the creation of their artwork, enables the energy of that creation to be felt by the viewer. Through my studies of shamanism and other work in the fields of personal energetics, I strive to create work that brings upliftment and beauty to those that experience them.
