Artist statement
My current series of paintings, Emotional Landscapes, are abstract
landscape images that are painted in such a way as to draw the viewer
into an altered space of perception, the landscape of feelings. They
are designed to bring a subtle energy to the viewer resulting in a
change of consciousness.
I believe that artists who are consciously
aware of the intent behind the creation of their artwork enable the
energy of that creation to be felt by the viewer. Through my studies
of shamanism and other work in the fields of personal energetics,
I strive to create work that brings healing and beauty to those that
experience them.
